Cobbled, quirky shopping street which is the oldest street in Didsbury
Warburton Street, leading away from Wilmslow Road is the oldest street in Didsbury. Its cobbles, with original stone pavements, are a remnant of a previous age. Some terraced cottages dating from the 1830s are still residential but others have been completely converted to thriving shops lead by the bookshop that has been trading on the street since the 1950s.
