Built in red Accrington brick as a Methodist church in the Edwardian era, Manchester Islamic Centre and Didsbury Mosque was bought in 1967 by some members of the Syrian Arab community to be used as a Mosque for the Manchester Muslim community.
Refreshments throughout the day – drinks, snacks and finger foods.
Displays, talks, Q & A sessions and guided tours. Guided tours take around 30-45 minutes. No booking necessary.
Henna tattooing / painting and an exhibition of traditional clothing.
